Andrew Schilling | Principal and Founder
Andrew is an entrepreneur with a decade of experience in strategy, operations, and leadership, serious to acquire and scale a resilient small business. Known for his hands-on approach and commitment to long-term success, he specializes in optimizing operations, enhancing team performance, and driving sustainable growth while preserving the unique legacy of each business he partners with.

Andrew’s professional journey includes leading growth strategies and innovation initiatives at EY-Parthenon, where he collaborated with diverse teams to solve complex challenges across industries. With a strong foundation in finance, technology, and operations, Andrew thrives in building businesses that create value for employees, customers, and communities alike.

A Certified Public Accountant and seasoned leader, Andrew pairs analytical expertise with a people-first philosophy. Beyond work, he is an avid traveler, marathon runner, and aspiring author who brings curiosity, discipline, and creativity to every endeavor. Through TA Trailhead, LLC, Andrew is ready to steward an exceptional business, fostering its growth and ensuring its lasting impact.

Beyond his team of advisors, Andrew is supported in both business and life by his wife, Tess McKenna. Tess is a business management and operations expert with a decade of experience across the energy, education, and fine dining industries. Her expertise in cross-cultural management is rooted in leading multinational teams of 40+ employees, including roles in China and the Dominican Republic. Tess is an adaptive problem-solver, focused on driving growth through process improvements and building effective collaboration in diverse settings.
Outside of her work, Tess is the true global adventurer and life-long learner of the couple with solo travels through more than 30 countries, a sommelier certification, and never-ending passion for all things science.
